Powers/Abilities: She can see ghosts and has been specifically haunted by a poltergeist who is almost like her baby sister since she was an infant who was crying.

Everyone in Rune Factory has magic. How much and what they're specialized in depends on the individual. Dolce specializes in healing. However, a lot of the magic comes from "rune points" and while eating food, certain potions, and generally healthy living can restore much of this, the most extreme magic (preventing death lol) requires native dragons.

Although Dolce was a guardian for the Native Dragon Ventuswill, her best friend other than Pico (a poltergeist bound to her for eternity) this resulted in her being overcome by the boss monster Marionetta. She was strong enough to hold out for centuries, though how much of this is her own willpower or due to Pico's influence is questionable.

She is decently strong with magic and can fight most monsters, and exorcise ghosts (sometimes. Not if they're especially stubborn!) but she hates it, and mostly just uses her knowledge to troll Pico.


Inventory: Silk hat with a decorative bat ribbon, elaborate elegant gothic lolita red dress (designed and sewn by herself), knitting needles & ball of yarn in progress, Simple rod, simple basic healing potions (stack of 6 she comes with when you first meet)

Job History: (In reverse order from most recent to most distant)
- Alchemist for Tiny Bandage Clinic in charge of making medicines, which include antidotes, sweet powder, healing potions, cold medicine, and so on. 2 years history. ** Absolutely requires both an alchemy table and appropriate ingredients

- Seamstress + Clothing designer: 5+ years history. Has designed all of her own clothes since she was fairly young, and has been sewing and knitting for many years. She designs and make blueprints for Pico's clothes even though Pico is a ghost who is not able to wear physical clothes, so the ghosts she makes for Pico are mockups. She can also make some VERY LIMITED accessories, but this includes Talisman, which is anti-Pico medallion, and otherwise can protect normal people from status conditions. She ALWAYS carries knitting with her, and if she gets fidgeting, begins knitting. Even in battle!

- Cooking: Absolute novice! She's only recently started learning some very basic recipes from Nancy who took her in with her husband: Dr. Jones, and almost exclusively sweets, and juice. ** requires kitchen tools though one of these is a basic blender.

- Dragon Guardian: Slept in a near coma for 400 years in order to fortify Ventuswill's life force and ensure she'd be able to stay on the mortal plan instead of reincarnating or scattering her runes to replenish the kingdom. This means she also is a little stronger and used to fighting boss monsters than the average person of Norad. And was trusted with high responsibility of protecting the kingdom.

- Story teller + marionette puppeteer: 3+ years. In an effort to keep Pico entertained (no small task!) Dolce became a master of puppets and marionette storytelling. She took over a dinner theater mansion when she was fortified as a dragon guardian, and ghosts flocked to it. Dolce absolutely enjoys telling ghost stories (real or imagined!) in deadpan to freak out Lest (MC) or others. She also made her own marionettes, and gave them all names and elaborate backstories. And collected stuffed animals and incorporated them into these stories.

- Medium: lifelong! Expert. Unfortunately. Dolce doesn't so much exorcise ghosts, so much as walks through the world sometimes unaware of whether or not someone is actually alive or just another ghost. Unless they have obvious life threatening wounds. But she was constantly trying to heal ghosts with fatal wounds through her childhood, so she only has begun to tell the difference through those years of experience.

- She can win the handicraft (accessory making) contest, and do very very well in fishing. But never buddy battle because Pico doesn't count.

Suppressions:

- Shy. She's very very very very VERY shy. And has a tough time making new friends. So much so that the poltergiest: Pico tries to "help" her by forcing her to run around chasing her with signs and telling people things about her that Dolce would never normally admit to. Dolce fails pretty badly at suppressing her shyness, but usually Pico and Ventuswill help
- Lonely. She is very prone to loneliness, (especially because of how shy she is!) Sometimes she suppresses this by remembering how frustrating people can be, especially ghosts, but she's bad at this also and tends to latch onto people who are kind to her and shyly hold them close in her heart and fail to tell them how important they are. (This is a big big character arc with both Pico & Nancy & Jones)
- Crybaby. Not as bad since she grew up, but if the shy and loneliness get too much, then definitely.
- Childish. She loves sweets & hates vegetables, but she tries to be adult at least in appearance to match the elegant persona. However, she still needs a stuffed animal to sleep with, and can't stand vegetables.
- Fear of Ghosts. She's gotten VERY good at this one and now uses it to empathically troll the rest of the world. Fufufufu...
- Missing her parents and the life she had before becoming a dragon guardian. Sometimes it's harder than others. She doesn't regret saving Venti, of course. But her parents and everyone she knew 400 years ago DIED, and she's self-aware that because she could see ghosts, she might have taken it too much for granted she would see them as ghosts, but they aren't ghosts haunting her, so dead actually is dead for once.

Greatest Fear: Losing Pico. Coupled with; Losing Pico AND Ventuswill, and unable to save or protect the people she loves, and becoming too shy and burdened with the past to try to keep taking even baby steps into the future one day at a time and make new friends.

Greatest Desire: Friends, family, and love. Despite how shy she is, how ghostly she is, how she will never be separated from Pico (oops) and her cold personality and harsh tongue.

Greatest Regret: Leaving Pico alone with other ghosts for centuries.
True TROLL answer (biting sarcasm NOT true!) she would say even taking Pico's hand as a baby -- but this is 100% lies. She loves Pico. TO DEATH. /pretends to strangle the ghost
